Schultz, Martha (Marriage - 25 May 1933)
A very pretty wedding took place at the Abbotsford Lutheran church last Thursday afternoon, May 25th, at 1:30 when Miss Martha Schultz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. Schultz of Abbotsford became the bride of Mr. Carl Fischer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Fischer, Rev. J. Brandt reading the marriage ceremony. Miss Lorna Schultz, sister of the bride, acted as maid of honor and Edna Fischer, a sister of the groom, and Lydia Schultz, a sister of the bride, served as bridesmaids. The groom was attended by Walter Fischer and Harold Wilde of Milwaukee and Arnold Ulrich of Rochester, Minn.
The bride was attired in a beautiful dress and veil of white satin and slippers to match and carried a bouquet of roses and carnations and baby breath. The maid of honor wore a dress of blue flat crepe and white slippers, one bridesmaid wore a yellow satin dress with white slippers and all wore pink and white carnation shoulder bouquets. The groom and best man wore suits of dark blue.
A wedding reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents and a free wedding dance was given at Milan.
